We are pleased to announce today the appointment of three further outstanding hires who will join our senior team in Australia and represent a significant build out of our advisory capability.

Reeny Paraskeva will be joining as Managing Director and Head of General Industrials. Reeny was previously a Managing Director at UBS based in New York, having started her corporate finance career in Australia with UBS and Goldman Sachs. 

She will return to Australia with over 15 years of corporate finance experience across a number of sectors including General Industrials, Healthcare, Consumer Products and Retail and Media and Technology. In addition to over a decade in traditional advisory, Reeny led the Consumer Products & Retail ECM team in New York and was most recently responsible for broadening the US financial sponsors coverage effort.

Reeny brings a unique perspective with the benefit of her global experience, differentiated network of international relationships and deep expertise across all key corporate finance products.

Julien Dyon will be Managing Director and Head of Financial Services. He is joining us from Goldman Sachs in London where he was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group, responsible for the Banking and Specialty Finance sector in Europe.

Julien will bring a wealth of experience from over 15 years of executing and leading complex international M&A and financing transactions. He has worked across all segments of financial services including Banking, FinTech, Insurance and Wealth and Asset Management, including in the context of the restructuring, recapitalisation and reshaping of the global financial services industry post the GFC. Julien has unique international experience on mergers and acquisitions and financing solutions for banks and on non-performing loan solutions.

Reeny and Julien will also have responsibility for broader roles in our business as part of the senior team across Corporate Advisory. 

Mitch Schauer will be our Managing Director and Head of Real Estate. A real estate expert for 13 years, Mitch joins us from UBS.

Mitch has deep experience advising listed and unlisted real estate groups across M&A, restructurings, follow-on equity raisings and IPOs. He recently helped to lead landmark equity raisings for blue-chip REITs such as Lendlease, GPT and Mirvac and is well known and respected across the Australian market.
