Today we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Frank Sarks as a Director of Institutional Equities for Jarden Australia. 

Frank joins the team after 18 years at Macquarie in Sydney where he was instrumental in building the domestic sales trading capability. He has deep relationships with some of Australia’s largest investors which will prove pivotal in the build out of the liquidity capability of the Jarden team.

With this appointment we have the back bone of our Australian institutional equities team.

Jarden is determined to ensure we follow our model of having experienced on the ground capability in the key areas that matter to our clients. That is, independent thought provoking idea generation, combined with advice and then connecting that to execution capability as the fundamental building blocks of a Corporate Finance & Markets firm, for our corporate, institutional and sovereign clients.

Our new Australian team and existing New Zealand team give our clients access to one of the most experienced sales and sales trading teams in the market. Today our team consists of 16 senior team members in Sales and Sales Trading with over 15 years average experience who have worked in international markets from Sydney, Auckland, London, Hong Kong and New York.

John Spencer will be assuming the role as Head of Equities for Jarden Australia. He is joined by Chris Tolj, Matt Moffat, Stu Archibald and Frank Sarks. The team will be heavily focused on liquidity access and idea generation.

They will work seamlessly with the existing team and join in the coming months.
